The Dean's Lunch & Learn Series is an informal gathering to build and strengthen community across campus while also celebrating our impact through research, innovation, and engagement. All faculty and staff are welcome to join for part or all of the session, as able.

Dr. Mawuli Afenyo, Assistant Professor Maritime Business Administration, is also an affiliate of the Texas A&M Global Cyber Research Institute. His research focuses on various aspects of maritime transportation, including Arctic shipping, oil spill prevention and response, maritime safety and security management, and global supply chains. He has taken part in major multi-disciplinary, multinational, large-scale projects globally. Dr. Afenyo was also the recipient of the KLU Young Researcher Award for his work on the impact of shipping activities in the Arctic. He has been interviewed by various print and electronic outlets, including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and High North News, while also appearing in Yahoo News and ScienceDaily.
